I have been helping a client who migrated across from Sage desktop to Xero, but unfortunately, there were lots of errors. I manually made changes so that the opening balances were correct and sorted out the bank, purchase and sales ledger balances. I also gave some support to their current bookkeeper to teach her how to use various aspects of Xero.
I have also recently successfully migrated 2 companies across to Xero from Sage desktop. This allows clients to access 2 years of accounts in Xero and import all their invoices, chart of accounts, customers and suppliers details. I also offer ongoing support as necessary.
I have had a meeting with 2 companies who would like someone to do their payroll. I like to use Xero payroll as part of the package but I also have another payroll package which I can can use. Quickbooks also offers payroll as well.
