Lucie Howard AATQB, MAAT Accountant/Managing Director
Background
Lucie is the founder and Managing Director of LEO Bookkeeping Services. She was a primary teacher for 14 years before a career change to accounting in 2016. This came about from enjoying doing the bookkeeping for her children's Pre-School and the desire to work more flexibly to spend more time with her family. Lucie is fully AAT qualified and is an AAT Registered Accountant. She has implemented the use of Xero across the firm and is a Xero specialist.

Outside of Work
Lucie is married to Chris, and together they have two children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, dining out, and exploring the countryside on walks. Recently, Lucie rekindled her passion for horse riding after a long break and now spends much of her free time outdoors with her horse.
In addition to her personal interests, Lucie plays an active role in her community. She is a trustee of a Local Riding for the Disabled charity and serves as the Treasurer on the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at her children's school.
Michelle Ramsden Senior Accounts Assistant
Background
Michelle graduated from the University of Lancashire in 1994 with a degree in Hospitality Management
She then spent 28 years in Hospitality Management, managing kitchen & restaurants in the early years, and then 20 years continued service with Greene King plc managing pubs. She chose to retire from the industry in 2018 and has since taken on a number of voluntary roles within the community.
She started working at LEO Bookkeeping Services in December 2018, with some part-time admin duties, whilst studying for the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting Level 2. As LEO Bookkeeping Services evolved and took on more clients, she became more involved with the bookkeeping aspect of the job, which was helped by achieving a distinction in the level 2 exams. She also completed Level 3 in November 2020 and now has the AATQB qualification and completed the Level 4 Module for Self Assessment Tax returns. Michelle is currently working towards Drafting Financial Statements and Corporation Tax returns for limited companies which is a level 4 Module.
In 2023, Michelle stepped up to become the Senior Accounts Assistant which involves more responsibility managing the team and clients.

Michelle is married and has a son. She enjoys spending time with her family enjoying the outdoors.
She is a member of the Olney runners committee, and regularly runs with the club and takes part in running events such as park runs and half marathons. She recently started open water swimming.
She is also a parish councillor for Lavendon Parish Council. She lives in the village and is currently part of a village group who organise village events. She is also a co-opted governor for the village school.
Amelia Haddon Accountant
Background
Amelia started bookkeeping and Accountancy in 2020. In her previous role she ran the VAT department and helped to streamline the bookkeeping processes. . She has had varied experiences with different clients and different areas of accountancy.

Background
Tracey's background was in events before moving into bookeeping. She worked in a local school and then started with LEO Bookkeeping Services in 2025.

Tracey is married and has a grown up daughter. She enjoys spending time outside with her horses or walking the dog. She also likes to travel. She is a member of the book club in her village.

Lou has previously worked in different bookkeeping roles for various companies and now she has joined us in practice. She also spent time working in a school dealing with all aspects of their finance. She is diligent and has a great attention to detail.

Lou is married with two children, both away at university. Having spent 20 years living and working in Asia, Lou loves to travel and explore new countries, cultures and food. When she’s at home, dog walks and spending quality time with her family and friends are her top priorities.
Bethany Byrne Admin Assistant and Trainee Bookkeeper
Background
Bethany has had a varied career so far, a few of her jobs include working in: a print room for a Solicitors in Northampton, a children's nursery, a financial advisors, a pub (or 2) and a control room watching CCTV and sending instructions over the radio system. Bethany has now decided to settle behind a desk again and is thoroughly enjoying being part of the team here at LEO Bookkeeping Services. Bethany joined us here in May 2023, and decided after a few months that she would like to start training to be a bookkeeper, so started her AAT Level 2.

When Bethany is not taking her son and daughter to their various sporting clubs, they can mainly be found out enjoying nice walks (or parks) and at the cinema. She loves to broaden her list of experiences and is always up for something a little out of the ordinary, be this going to the Ice Bar in London or shark cage diving in South Africa, nothing is too daunting.
